COURSES FOR CHILDREN
 The
course is addressed to children (from 5 to 15 years old) that want
to learn Italian. The course is held by teachers specialized in the teaching
to the children.
The program:
- Learn Italian by playing with Italian children
 -
Learn the more useful expression of daily language, the numbers, the colors,
the animals, the parts of the body, etc...
- Learn Italian through games, songs...
- Cooking lesson for children: one day is consacrated to a cooking lesson,
children will do home-made pasta with the help of the teacher (Orecchiette,
Tagliatelle, Spaghetti etc..)
- Lesson at the market: on Wednesday children will go with their teacher
to the market to learn the names of the fruit, vegetables, dresses etc...
- One lesson can be held at the beach with the teacher (only in summer). 
Starting dates: every 2 weeks
Duration: 1 or more weeks;
Lessons: 15 hours in group per week

THIS COURSE
This summer, my entire family had the pleasure of studying the Italian
language and culture at the "Scuola Porta d'Oriente". I took
an advanced Italian course, my husband took a beginner's course and my
daughters, 4 year old Angelina and 5 year old Alessandra, took the children's
course. We all loved the warm way in which our teachers treated us. We
felt like our family was a part of theirs. Each
of us was able to learn the language at our own level, and then, together
as a family, we were able to experience the many after school, cultural
experiences the school offers. We particularly enjoyed learning how to
make "orecchiette" (Italian pasta) and traveling underground
to see how olive oil was produced years ago. We learned so much and had
so much fun doing it that we plan to return next summer. Might I add that
the beautiful coast line dotted with ancient architecture makes the experience
unforgettable for people of all ages. ATTENDING THE Scuola Porta d'Oriente
IS THE OPPORTUNITY OF A LIFETIME AND THE SCHOOLhas my highest recommendation
on all counts. IF YOU TRAVEL THE WORLD, YOU WILL NOT FIND A MORE ENCHANTING
PLACE OR A NICER GROUP OF PEOPLE.

Anche noi pensiamo di voi e di tutti alla scuola. Il tempo che abbiamo
speso alla scuola sara sempre nel mio cuore. Alessandra ed Angelina parlano
spesso di voi.
 Non vedo l'ora di incontrarvi di nuovo. Forse il prossimo Giugno, tornero.
Come dicevo prima, se voi o qualcuno che voi conoscete bene vorreste venire
negli stati uniti, potrete restare con me per gratis. Io posso incontrarvi
all' aeoroporto e mostrarvi Boston se volete.
Anche se voi conoscete qualcuno che vuole vivere qui per qualche mese
o un anno, posso affitare una stanza ad un bel prezzo. Siamo venti minuti
da Boston.
