Language holiday and programs for the over fifties   The Italian language school Porta d’Oriente offers an exciting Italian language and cultural activities course for the over 50's age group. The course combines enjoyable Italian language practice with exciting opportunities to explore Italy and Apulia's unique cultural heritage.

Course Content and Levels of Italian
   This tailor made programme is designed to be flexible and to respond to the needs of each group, focusing on particular group interests such as Italian music, history, society, architecture and nature.
   The structure of the language is taught within a conversational framework, to help you to communicate in spoken and written Italian.
   The course caters for different levels, encompassing listening, speaking, reading and writing. Course materials and methods are focused on creating a relaxed atmosphere in which you can enjoy learning and practising Italian.

The program for the over 50 in Otranto, Apulia includes:

Language holidays and programs for the over fifties - 2 weeks Intensive course (20 hours per week)
- a guided visit of the historic town of Otranto
- an afternoon trip in the Grecia Salentina (the Greek part of Apulia)
- an afternoon trip on the South coast
- 1 course of Apulian home-made pasta
