Celi preparation course
The Celi preparation course will prepare you in the best way for the Celi examination. We prepare for all levels: Celi 1, Celi 2, Celi 3, Celi 4, Celi 5.
The Celi course focuses on the examination tests and also on specific problems and critical points that the teacher may identify in the students.
First, the student is given a comprehensive overview of the various sections that make up the examination.
The Celi preparation course consist of 4 hours a day of Intensive group course and 1 individual hour focusing on the Celi exam format.

The Celi certificate
Why is the CELI so important? Because it is an internationally recognized certificate which will become your free pass for admission into university (with a B2 level you will be able to enter the Italian university).
It is also your key to doing business interviews and to becoming an Italian teacher yourself in turn.
School Porta d’Oriente offers Celi preparation courses at all levels. It is officially recognized by the University for Foreigners of Perugia as seat for Celi examination. So after the course, you can do the examination by our school.
The Celi certificate is offered by the University for Foreigners of Perugia, within the ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe) framework, Celi examinations worldwide at five levels of ability. All the examinations are held in June and November in Italy and abroad.

LEVEL A1
Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has. LEVEL A2
Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. LEVEL B1
Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. Can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken. Can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. LEVEL B2
Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialisation. Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. LEVEL C1
Can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognise implicit meaning. Can express him/herself fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions. Can use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. LEVEL C2
Can understand with ease virtually everything heard or read. Can summarise information from different spoken and written sources, reconstructing arguments and accounts in a coherent presentation.
